Athletic and Recreational Facilities
The athletic and recreational facilities of Tufts (tennis courts, playing fields, swimming pool, etc.) will be available to participants on the same basis as to Tufts students. The identification card that will be issued to all participants must be shown to gain access to these facilities.
Disabled Persons
If Conference and Event Services is notified in advance, all possible efforts will be made for arrangements to accommodate the needs of disabled participants.
ISoFT will attempt to identify in advance any special needs of disabled registrants, faculty and guests attending the conference, and will notify conference and Event Services of such needs as covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for accommodation as soon as they are identified to ISoFT.
Parking
Parking permits to be placed in car windows will be issued and are valid in any space designated for a Tufts staff/faculty, commuter, or resident permit.
Policies and restrictions for participant and staff parking are based on those that govern parking for Tufts personnel and students. Parking permits may not be used in the following areas: metered spaces, fire lanes, Medford and Somerville streets, and the Dowling Hall parking garage. Parking is available in Dowling Hall for an additional fee paid directly to the Tufts Parking Office (tokens may be purchased within the parking garage). Parking on Medford and Somerville streets is restricted as posted.
