1. Exam 1: will be on Tuesday, Sep 30, during class, 2:00-3:15.
   Please note that the practice exam contains questions about solutions that have not been covered yet in our chem 116 course (this material is in chapter 13 and will be covered on the next exam instead).

• Study guide for a previous year's Exam 1 (I will post an updated study guide, but for those who wish to get an early start looking at this, you can use this study guide for this year's exam except that only material from chapters 10 and 11 will be covered on Exam 1, i.e., chapter 12 and 13 material is not on Exam 1). Also please note that this year the course time is 2:00-3:15 (in previous years the course started at 2:30). The exam will begin when the course begins -- at 2:00, not 2:30.

2. Exam 2: will be on Thursday, Oct 30, during class, 2:00-3:15.
   You should also have a look at any relevant questions in Practice Exam 1 above when you are studying for our Exam 2.

3. Exam 3: will be on Thursday, Nov 20, during class, 2:00-3:15.
   You should also have a look at any relevant questions in Practice Exam 2 above when you are studying for our Exam 3.

4. Final Exam: as announced. Location TBA.
